We get A LOT of cards. Some are simply terrible and hit the recycling bin almost immediately. Others, like this year’s card from Coral & Tusk, get whisked away to my house so I can enjoy them over and over again.
What better way to wish you all a Happy New Year than by sharing my favorite card of the year.
In fact, I should admit that almost anything we get from Coral & Tusk ends up at my house. Her gorgeous Sofa Card from a trade show this past summer is also in a frame in my house. And I love it.
In 2011, definitely be on the lookout for more from Coral & Tusk, my current vendor crush. Everything made by the lovely Stephanie Housley is swoon-worthy, and looks great in a frame at my house! (And please, do not judge the poor woman on the basis of my photo quality and dark New England house!)
This photo would look much better without my mother’s toothbrush, and when the wall gallery is actually completed, but here’s at least some proof that Coral & Tusk shares cherished space in my home.
More of her work adorns the “jellyfish” wall in my bedroom. The jellyfish thing is a long story but just think sting, then obsession, thus a wall of jellyfish.
And these jellyfish are in great company, sharing the wall with work by Nate Duval, Dinah Coops, Jen Corace, Austin Press, and others.
But enough about my jellyfish!
As we close out the year, I must wish all of our Essentials’ fans a very Happy New Year. Thank you for all of your support in 2010, and we all look forward to an exciting 2011!
